A series of railway themed dances from the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society.
On Saturday 9th August, join us to celebrate the S&DC200 anniversary through dance!
Hopetown Darlington are delighted to be hosting local dancers from Richmond branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society who will perform a series of railway themed dances by the main railway line.
Performances at 1.30pm and 3pm

Scottish Country Dancing is a very sociable form of dance to great traditional music. It offers dancers of all abilities and none a variety of interesting patterns and formations and has been a great feature of cultural life in and around Darlington and the Northeast for many years. It keeps your toes tapping, your brain alert, increases fitness and your circle of friends: once tried SCD can become a joyful part of life! Age is no barrier, you do not need previous experience or even to bring your own partner to join us, so come along and give it a twirl!
